MegaPhone announces extension of exclusive partnership with User1 Subsystems.
After many years of collaboration on multiuser client-server systems, Derek Clayton and Colin Moock have formed User1 Subsystems as the corporate entity to hold their flagship product, the Union Platform (formerly Unity).

MegaPhone has been working with User1 for the past year, and are committing to a longer exclusive partnership.

Internally MegaPhone uses a highly customized version of Union, which handles all server-to-Flash communications for MegaPhone first party, and third party applications.

Internal developers, as well as licensees, all use the MegaPhone SDK, designed by Colin.

Here's what some of our recent clients say:

"I really liked my experience with MegaPhone. For how complex multiuser experience can be, I was super impressed by how it was intuitive, well documented, and altogether assembled. That's not my quote, just my honest feeling."

- Eric Natzke, independent interactive designer for Goodby, Silverstein & Partners on behalf of their client, Sprint

"The API made what would be a very complicated programing challenge simple. The multiuser aspect brings tons of ideas to the table and has enormous potential for new interfaces and interactions."

- Todd Vanderlin, Creative Technologist at Arnold, on behalf of their client, Carnival Cruise Lines.
