We are the Phone Call Game company!
MegaPhone was created based on the idea that the best way to play multiplayer games in public spaces is to use "your phone as your controller."

The first version of MegaPhone, called Megaphone 3000, was two player, and was introduced at New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) Fall 2006 show by Jury Hahn and Chris Kairalla. The second version was multiplayer, and was launched at the Spring 2007 ITP show as Jury Hahn's Master's Thesis.

In the Fall of 2007, the commercial version of MegaPhone was launched by Jury Hahn and Dan Albritton, and has since been powering out of home games for a variety of clients all over the world.

In the Fall of 2008, MegaPhone launched its most powerful platform, called "Stadium Games," with games for up to 2,500 simultaneous players.

Jury Hahn

CCO, Co-Founder

Jury makes visuals and sounds with hands and computers, and is currently working on making those things interactive in the form of games. Originally from Korea, she moved to New York to attend the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University where she met some of the current MegaPhone team members. Before MegaPhone, she worked at companies including MTV, Samsung, and Comedy Central.

Jury's ultimate vision for the business is to entertain players by making this new form of interactivity ubiquitous in the out of home media world. Her artistic goal for MegaPhone is a realtime collaboration at concerts between the audience and the performers Daft Punk. If you are related to Daft Punk, or the Gondry brothers, please contact us.
